About Brian
Brian Oveson earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography at the University of Colorado, Denver, in 2004. He has been photographing an array of subjects since he discovered the camera as his preferred medium in 1994. His primary focus within the medium is photo-collage, which he refers to as “Constructs.” He photographs environments in fragments to capture time and changing light. He then constructs them together by hand to create wide-angel, ethereal experiences for his subjects. Works vary in size from intimate to large, life-like scales. Bodies of work include Architecture – Cycles of Existence, Nature – The Human Influence, Transportation – Machinery and Structure, Urban – Expression and Decay.
